A True Wonder of the World...
Rainbows and the roar of thousands of gallons of water streaming over a gorge that spans more than a mile – this is Victoria Falls. The Falls attain a height of 420 feet, much larger than North America’s Niagara Falls. Victoria Falls is the largest “single sheet” of water on the planet.
Another appealing feature for viewing this spectacular sight is the fact that one can see the falls “head on” because of the way they descend into the chasm. During the wet season, over 19 million cubic feet of water roar over the falls every minute.

Victoria Falls spans the two countries of Zimbabwe and Zambezi, and the first known European to have viewed them was David Livingstone in 1855. He wrote, “…Scenes so lovely must have been gazed upon by angels in their flight”. Today’s adventurers can view a sight that is unparalleled.
