Get “up close and personal”!Wildlife Experience

Travelers often arrive a few days before our safari tours. This allows them to
1) Allow time to adjust to the time zone difference and
2) Immerse themselves in the local culture and enjoy activities in the Arusha area. The Kilimanjaro Golf and Wildlife Estate offers a world-class golf course for those who enjoy the sport and the Polo Club on the estate is available to spectators.
“I never knew of a morning in Africa when I woke up that I was not happy.”- Ernest Hemingway
For guests interested in learning about the important subject of wildlife conservation efforts in Tanzania, we will arrange for you to spend the day at a nearby sanctuary. With more than 1,000 acres managed by the government of Tanzania, rescued animals are cared for with the goal of a successful release into the wild. You will have the opportunity to get “up close and personal” with these animals which will add a very special memory to your adventure in Africa.
